Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE): Established in 1917, SUFE is a premier institution in China specializing in economics, finance, and management education. Summer Exchange Program: SUFE IEC invites local and international students from overseas universities to study during their summer break. This program offers a blend of academic exploration and cultural immersion, providing participants with a holistic learning experience. All courses are taught and assessed in English.

Program Overview:

• Business Courses: Economics, Finance, Marketing, with a focus on the Chinese context
• IT Courses: Programming, emphasizing practical programming and data analytics to explore China's rapidly advancing technological landscape
• Cultural Courses: China Business Culture, offering insights into Chinese traditional culture, business development history, values, and modern societal dynamics

Tuition Fee Structure:

• One course: 10,000 RMB (about 1,100 GBP)
• Two courses: 18,000 RMB (about 1,980 GBP)

Note: Payment methods will be provided for both overseas and Chinese bank accounts.

Dates/Duration:

• Duration: 3-4 weeks (Including orientation, on-campus learning, graduation ceremony, and a group cultural trip in Shanghai)

1. Students holding Chinese nationality, those from countries eligible for China's 30-day visa-free policy, or those with a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining (a China visa application guide and an official invitation letter will be provided)
2. Bachelor's or master's students studying at the University of Birmingham in English-taught and assessed programs
3. Meet the minimum required number of participants for the course to be offered
